Hajia Ushena emerged victorious in the presidential race, defeating her opponent by 80 votes to 23. Tialo Faustin was elected Vice President with 84 votes against 39.
But beyond the election results, traders will be looking to the new executive to address some of the everyday problems affecting their businesses.
